Getting a fresh start, like a good job or good housing, is

The state of Minnesota allows expungement (sealing) of
criminal records under limited circumstances if a Minnesota court finds that you have reformed
your life and that it is unlikely you will commit another crime.
Once your record is expunged, you may thereafter legally
state that you were never arrested, charged, or accused of a crime. In the eyes of the law, the
entire incident never occurred. In most situations, an expungement restores you to the status
